Jason Booma


Jason focuses on investments in the Internet Infrastructure and Enterprise IT Services sectors. At Columbia, Jason serves on the Boards of 2nd Watch, Cloud Sherpas, Summit IG, and Terrapact and he is also involved in the firm’s investments in euNetworks Group Ltd, GTS CE, Zayo Group, and Endgame Systems. Jason began his tenure as a principal investor in 2004 with Centennial Ventures. There, he was involved with Centennial's services and technology investments in Zayo Group, Compellent Technologies (NYSE: CML), New Global Telecom (acquired by Comcast), Market Force Information, and TensorComm.  Prior to Centennial, Jason was a product manager for Level 3 Communications. Jason started his career at QualNet (acquired by Verio), a start-up provider of internet infrastructure for mid-sized enterprises. Jason received a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.
