Millennial Media Names Peter Bassett as Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales

Former Community Connect Executive Becomes Newest Member of Millennial Media Senior Management Team

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Millennial Media, the cross-platform mobile advertising company, announced today that Peter Bassett has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales. As part of this new position, Bassett will be responsible for the overall growth and direction of Millennial Media's sales organization and customer relationship management.

Bassett brings more than 17 years of sales and marketing experience with companies such as Citibank, N.A., and Diebold, Inc. Prior to joining Millennial Media, he served as Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales and Recruiting Solutions at Community Connect Inc. During this tenure, he led the company's Client Solutions Group and managed revenue for the leading online niche social networking sites: Blackplanet.com, MiGente.com, Asianave.com, Glee.com and Faithbase.com.

Bassett developed his business management, sales and marketing careers in the U.S. and overseas through various positions with multinational companies and small technology start-ups. Before joining Community Connect, he was Vice President of Sales at JobDirect.com which was successfully sold to Korn Ferry International in 2001.
